PKC history in brief
1969 Pohjolan Kaapeli Oy, a subsidiary of Oy Nokia Ab, founded its wiring harness factory. Deliveries to Saab began. What has happened after that?
PKC 50 years
In 1969 a small factory with 40 employees started to produce wiring harnesses, in Kempele, Finland. Now 50 years later, in 23 plants on 4 continents with nearly 30,000 PKC colleagues and as part of the Motherson family, we contribute to the mobility of customers’ trucks, buses, construction equipment, trains and locomotives around the globe.
In 2019 PKC celebrated its 50th anniversary.
This video was created to summarize shortly our journey through these years and express our thanks to our colleagues. Their commitment, hard work, innovation and focus on customer satisfaction has allowed us to achieve all of our business successes.
