In addition, Curitiba´s factory has been certified according to OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety standard.

Quality Best Practices
Operating according to best quality practices is part of PKC's strategy. The practices are well-proven quality tools and operating methods, by which manufacturing processes, methods and products are developed and unified as far as possible irrespective of the location. Best quality practices enable the close participation of all employees in daily quality work and in the continuous development of quality. The implementation and development of practices is evaluated regularly by internal assessments and by monitoring the operating environment.
PKC uses Six Sigma in strategically important improvement projects. The aim of Six Sigma projects is to select essential business development targets, which will lead to significant improvement in operations by making processes more effective, by raising operations quality and at the same time by reducing the costs caused by bad quality.
